Privacy policy

Anonymized by default. No Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, no Google Ads tracking, no data brokers. Quiz inputs are stored without your name, email, or IP address — opt-in is required for anything that leaves the server. GDPR and CCPA rights are honored within 30 days at privacy@eyeverdict.com.

What we collect

  • Quiz inputs. Anonymized at storage — not linked to your name, email, or IP address by default. Stored so that you can return to your result via a unique URL.
  • Analytics events. Aggregate, non-personal: page view, tool start, tool completion, affiliate click-out.
  • Email. Stored only if you opt in to email delivery of your result or a drip series.
  • Contact-form submissions. Stored to respond to your request.

Third-party services

EyeVerdict uses the following processors. Each has its own privacy policy and data-handling commitments.

  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic analysis. No PII sent.
  • Yandex.Metrika — aggregate traffic analysis. No PII sent.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (only when you opt in).
  • Rocket.Chat (internal) — real-time event notifications for the engineering team. Aggregate event data only, no PII.
  • Sentry — application error monitoring. We scrub PII from error reports.

We do not load Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads, or any third-party ad-tracking pixel.

Cookies

EyeVerdict sets first-party cookies for session continuity (saving quiz progress, language preference) and uses analytics cookies via Google Analytics 4 and Yandex.Metrika.

No third-party ad cookies. The cookie banner gives you accept and reject options for analytics on first visit; your choice is honored.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can request, at any time:

  • Access. A copy of any data we hold linked to your email or quiz session ID.
  • Deletion. Removal of your email subscription, stored quiz session, and contact-form submissions.
  • Portability. Export of your stored data in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV).
  • Withdrawal of consent. For analytics or email, at any time.

Send requests to privacy@eyeverdict.com. We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR and CCPA.

Data retention

  • Anonymized quiz inputs: 24 months from creation.
  • Email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics aggregates: retained per GA4 and Yandex.Metrika defaults.
  • Contact-form submissions: 12 months from response.
  • Sentry error reports: 90 days.

International transfers

EyeVerdict is hosted on Railway in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. Standard Contractual Clauses are in place with all processors that hold EU or UK personal data.
